Creating Community Connections
As your District Four City Council Representative I have and will continue to work to improve how our city connects. These connections occur with our streets and sidewalks as well as with our residents interacting with the city and one another. As our city continues to welcome new businesses and residents, we must make sure those connections continue to work for everyone.
To work towards improving these connections I have focused my efforts on two main areas:
Development & Infrastructure

Evaluate new development projects to make sure they benefit the community as well as future users.

Expand foot and bike pathways to better connect Chamblee neighborhoods to one another and to the city.

Continue promoting new sidewalks throughout the city based on the areas with the greatest need.

Neighborhood Cleanup & Care

Establishing a more consistent approach for enforcement of city codes and addressing violations.

Working with City departments to address problematic and derelict properties.
ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
Working in the live events and entertainment industry for the last 25 years has allowed me to be involved with projects ranging from local live events to large construction projects. Working all over North America allowed me to learn different approaches to similar situations. From design to project management, my work has given me real world experience in everything from writing specifications to fulfilling contract requirements. This body of work will allow me to make sure projects have really been thought through before they are started.
My personal time is shared in many areas. My wife and I are raising our son in the same house we bought more than 15 years ago. I volunteer my professional knowledge to help produce ANSI National Safety Standards, to serve as a board member for ESTA, the entertainment industry trade association, and to provide training programs in my industry. My personal passions focus on helping the community, from leading our area in its joining of Chamblee in 2013, to serving on the board of the Brookhaven Farmers Market for two years, and my continued support of local farmers and markets.
